What To Expect Before The PRP Therapy Session?
Here is what you can expect on the day of your session:
- Filling out and signing consent forms

What Happens During The PRP Therapy Session?
There are three steps involved in a PRP Therapy session.
Step 1: The doctor at The Hair Loss Clinic will draw blood from the patient’s arm.
Step 2: The blood will be placed on a Centrifuge. The process separates White Blood Cells and Red Blood Cells from Plasma Rich with Platelets.
Step 3: The Platelet rich plasma is then injected into the targeted areas on the patient’s scalp.
The entire process may take about 45 minutes and usually 3-4 sessions may be necessary for best results.
What Care Must Be Taken After The Process?
There is no extra care that the person has to undertake after the process. The doctor might prescribe certain medicated shampoos and conditioners along with some other hair care products which will help to speed up and stimulate the results of the process even more.
